"As a result of performing some landscaping at my house in April of 2007, I was having severe muscle pain in my upper back and right shoulder for over 2 weeks.  I couldn't deal with the pain any longer, so I decided to give chiropractic a try.  I had never been to a chiropractor before, but I was at the point of desperation.  A co-worker of mine referred me to Balance Family Chiropractic after receiving a successful treatment for lower back pain.  I work within walking distance of Dr. Ackerman's office, so I figured I had nothing to lose.  I can say without question that I made the right decision.  After 3-4 weeks of regular adjustments from Dr. Ackerman my condition greatly improved and all the pain was gone.  It has not returned in any shape or form since.

I am a bit of a basketball junkie and I play a couple times a week and the game can be tough on the back.  For that reason, I continue with chiropractic care and regular treatments to this day.  The treatments definitely keep me from suffering from any long-term back pain, which allows me to keep up my basketball routine.
